Ketogenic Gluten-Free Fried Okra
This delicious ketogenic gluten-free fried okra recipe is still a work in progress. I love okra and I usually make a gumbo but I wanted to try something different.

Only thing is it did not get crispy like the traditional fried okra. But that was to be expected. I have no mastered the art of using nut flowers yet and that is quite a task. So I’m happy with this. If you have a ratio of nut flours that do better please share in the chat box 🙂

Ingredients are as listed above
- First In a small bowl, soak okra in egg for 5 to 10 minutes. An then In a medium bowl, combine your flour blend, salt, pepper, cayenne, ginger, garlic and basil.
- Next heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Then dredge okra in the flourless blend and coat evenly.
- Now Carefully place okra in hot oil; stir continuously. Reduce heat to medium when okra first starts to brown, and cook until golden. Drain on paper towels.
Tip if you don’t mind a little more carbs, tapioca flower is a little denser and will probably give you a crisper crunchier okra fry.
